Our Approach:

Our lab is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technology to model the human esophagus as an "organ on a dish." By creating patient-derived esophageal organoids, we aim to replicate the human esophageal microenvironment in vitro. This innovative model system allows us to study the formation of organs and the progression of diseases in a controlled setting. These organoids provide a powerful platform for high-throughput drug screening, biomarker discovery, and patient-specific investigations, advancing our understanding of esophageal biology and facilitating the development of targeted therapies.
